Gigmet Mepam Trekking guide. Gigmet was born in Kharu Village 40 km from Leh . He has been working with us since we set up our company. Apart from trekking, he looks after our office in Leh, managing the arrival and departure of our clients and sorting out the “inner line” and climbing permits. He has been trekking in Ladakh for over 8 years, including; Markha Valley. shame {?} Trek ,Lamayuru to Chilling . Stock Kangri 6140 mtrs . Dzojongoo East peak 6040 mtrs., etc.
Tashi was born in Thiksay village which is 20kms from Leh and he is one of our experienced guides who is able to handle different circumstances in the mountains and is a very good decision maker. He has been working as Trekking Guide for more than 10 years with other leading organizations of Ladakh in places like Rumtse,Tsomoriri Trek, Markha Zalungkarpo Trek, Kanji to Zangskar Trek. He has also been climbing Stok Peak which is 6150 mtrs ,Dzojongo East 6040 mtrs ,Regon Molaya 6030 mtrs etc. His experience in these areas is exceptional.
He was born in a very remote village called Kaya in Markha valley which is one of the most sought after destinations by our trekkers. He has been working with us for the last four years as a Trekking Guide . He has completed his Advanced Mountaineering course from Jawaharlal Institute of Mountaineering and now working as one of our Climbing Guides for the leading domestic and international groups in the Ladakhi mountains. In addition he is an excellent rock climber.
